Hey Kids,
I enjoy Trent’s channel. Especially the comments section. Trent is carrying the water for most of the 40k+ subs on this channel and they desperately need him. Most large networks today have gotten rid of their comments sections - primarily because that’s where most of the fun is. I think it follows with Netflix (Amy Schumer’s awful “comedy” and joke thievery) and Youtube (their CEO made the worst, Worst, WORST videos so they turned off comments and quit letting her make videos - no irony there) removing the dislike counters. I always joke that leftists love dialogue as long as it’s a monologue.
As I was responding to a near bot-like knee jerk reaction comment I stumbled on some similarities between how revelation becomes a tradition in the religious sphere - the same way it does in the pseudo-religious sphere. Red had a good line in the Shawshank redemption, “All it takes is pressure…and time.”
The pattern is there for those who would see it. The litmus test was given by Christ himself in John 7
If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
Look at those who actually DO what they profess to adhere to and see the results. Are they men and women worthy of emulation. Do they have the gifts and authority they claim to possess? Which master do they serve, and whose rewards are they receiving?
Not a particularly compelling video IMO but I did throw a couple of other gems in the comment section.
I love you,
Dad
If it’s up I need to link to my letter on Pascal’s wager.
